Website monitoring for agencies

Every client site in one login. TideStat finds what broke, writes the fix, reports it to the client in your brand, and plans each client's next 90 days on Google.

The agency overview: sites needing attention now, this month's work for clients, and every client site's last 30 days

First to know

Hear about problems before your clients do

The phone call nobody wants starts with “our website's down”. TideStat watches for what clients notice first, on every site, whatever it runs on.

Downtime

Checked as often as every minute on Agency 100. An alert by email, Slack, Teams or webhook when a site goes down, and again when it's back.

Every plan

Certificates and domains

A warning a month before a certificate or a domain runs out, so the padlock never turns red.

Every plan

Blacklists and email

Google's unsafe-sites list and Spamhaus daily, and SPF, DMARC and DKIM so client email lands in the inbox.

Paid plans

Pages that changed

Screenshots compared with last time, so a broken layout after an update doesn't go unnoticed.

Paid plans

Unusual changes

A sharp change in uptime, speed or search score against the site's own pattern, even when nothing is strictly broken.

Agency 25 and Agency 100

Each client against its own normal

The overview gives every site a 30-day strip, so the one client in trouble isn't hidden in a total.

Every plan

The Fix list

One list of fixes across every client

Every problem from every check lands in one list, worst first, in plain English, with roughly how long it takes. Open one and TideStat writes the fix for that site's platform.

  • Filter by client or by what it affects
  • Mark it fixed and TideStat checks again; if it comes back, it's flagged
  • Fixes confirmed this month go into each client's report

Reports and client logins

A report that shows your work

Clients rarely see the fixes you make. The monthly report and the client login show them: how the site did, what changed, what you fixed and what's next.

  • Sent every month, per site or for the whole account; PDFs never use credits
  • White-label on Agency 25 and Agency 100: your logo, colours and footer
  • Client logins see only their own sites, read-only

Agency questions

What is website monitoring for agencies?

One tool watching every client site you look after, so you hear about downtime, expiring certificates, search problems and slow pages before the client does, and can show them the work in a monthly report. TideStat does this for every site in your account, on a schedule, with nothing to install.

Do my clients need a login?

No. Most agencies just send the monthly report. If a client wants to look for themselves, invite them with the client role: they see only the sites and sections you choose, read-only.

Can we resell Search Growth?

That's what it's for. You pay per site you switch on, and each client gets a 90-day plan built from their own Google figures, with before and after on every change and a search growth page in their report.

How do you know we manage a client's site?

Each site proves ownership within 7 days, with a DNS record, a code sent to the domain's admin mailbox, a meta tag, a file, the WordPress plugin or Google Search Console. Until then it gets light checks only. A verified domain belongs to one account.

Is TideStat a full SEO suite?

No, and it doesn't try to be. It watches site health and visibility: technical SEO, speed, uptime, security, keyword positions and search data, and plans growth from them. It doesn't do backlink research or write content at scale.

What happens when a client site goes down?

TideStat checks a second time before it alerts, so a single blip doesn't wake you. Then it emails you (or posts to Slack, Teams or your webhook) and tells you again when the site is back.
