Grow on Google

Help every site grow on Google

TideStat reads each site's own Google figures, finds the searches it nearly wins, and turns them into a 90-day plan whose tasks check themselves.

A running 90-day growth plan: 9 of 15 tasks done, goals for clicks, searches on page 1 and position, and clicks from Google against the steady path to the goal

Google Search Console

Connect once, for every site

Sign in with Google once for the account. TideStat finds each site's Search Console property and shows how people find the site, next to everything else it checks.

  • Clicks, times seen, click rate and position, 28 days against the 28 before
  • 90 days on Google: searches on page 1 and close to it, with daily clicks
  • Quick wins: pages with fewer clicks than they should get, and searches just off page 1
  • Sitemap, index and redirect checks, and proof that you look after the site

Google figures on every paid plan. The full report, quick wins and growth plan come with Search Growth.

How people find you on Google: 24,985 times seen, 951 clicks, 3.8% click rate, position 11.7, a 90-day chart and three quick wins

The Search Growth add-on

A 90-day plan for each site you want to grow

£15$19€17 a site a month on the agency plans, for the sites you switch on. £49$59€55 a month on Business, with the plan checked by our team.

  1. ReadTideStat reads Search Console and its own crawl every day: searches close to page 1, pages under-performing for their position, pages competing, weak links, sitemap and index problems.
  2. PlanThree months of tasks, each tied to a page, a search or an issue, with the reasoning folded under “Why”. You start it, draft it again or discard it.
  3. CheckEvery day TideStat looks again. A task the data confirms ticks itself; one the data contradicts is flagged. Fall behind the path to the goal and you get an alert.

Tasks that check themselves

Getting a page indexed, linking a guide to the page that should rank, cleaning up a sitemap: TideStat can see whether these happened, so it ticks them for you. Tasks it can't see, such as a better title, you tick yourself, and TideStat measures the clicks before and after.

  • Strengthen /pricing/ for “private dentist prices”Confirmed · position 14.8 → 8.8

Changes made

Before and after, on every change

Each fix you mark and each task you tick is logged with the site's Google clicks, times seen and keyword positions for the 28 days before and after. Add a note for anything done outside TideStat.

  • The list sits beside the site's Google panel
  • The same changes appear on the clicks chart and in the client report

Keywords

Where each search stands

Track the searches that matter in the right country: 200 on Agency 10, 500 on Agency 25, 1,000 on Agency 100 and 50 on Business.

  • Weekly or daily (daily on Agency 25 and Agency 100; a daily keyword counts twice)
  • Google's AI answer: whether it mentions the site for each search
  • Suggestions from Search Console, Bing and content gaps, or ask AI for ideas
Tracked keywords grouped by site: each search with its country, position, change and whether Google's AI answer mentions the site

Is the business named in AI answers?

More people ask an AI assistant before they search. TideStat asks one, with live web search, the questions a customer would, and shows week by week how often it names the business.

  • Your own questions per site, checked on a schedule
  • Every answer kept, so you can read what the AI actually said
AI visibility: how often the AI names the business, week by week, rising from a third of answers to two thirds

Search questions

Do I need Search Console already?

Yes, for the Google figures: the site needs a Search Console property, which is free from Google. Connect your Google account once in TideStat and it finds the property for each site, and uses it to prove you look after the site.

What does the Search Growth add-on add?

On top of the Google figures every paid plan shows: the full Google search report with quick wins, the 90-day growth plan, before and after on every change, extra Fix list items from Search Console (pages with few clicks, pages competing for one search, weak internal links) and a search growth page in the client report.

How is a 90-day plan made?

From the site's own evidence: searches close to page 1, pages getting fewer clicks than their position should give, pages competing for one search, weakly linked pages, sitemap, index and redirect problems. The tasks come from that evidence by fixed rules, each tied to its page, search or issue; AI only rewrites their wording and the summary.

Who approves the plan?

Agencies review and start their own plans. On the Business plan, our team checks each plan before it starts.

Is the clicks goal a promise?

No. Goals are targets to work towards. The chart shows the steady path from today's clicks to the goal, and an alert tells you when a plan falls behind it, so you can change course early.

What is AI visibility?

On Agency 25 and Agency 100, TideStat asks an AI assistant with live web search the questions a customer might ask, on a schedule, and records whether the answer names the business. Each question uses 3 credits a run.
