Fix list & AI fixes

What to fix first, with the fix written

Every problem on every site in one list, worst first, in plain English, with roughly how long it takes. Open one and TideStat writes the fix for the site's own platform.

The Fix list: 52 to do, 2 urgent, 3 fixed this week; items grouped into fix this week and this month, each with the site, what it affects and a time estimate

One list

No more logging into six tools

Each problem says what's wrong, why it matters and what to do, in words you could forward to a client or a developer as they are.

Worst first

“Fix this week” and “this month”, so the few urgent items don't drown in the long tail.

Every plan

A rough time for each

From “5 min” to “1 h” for someone used to the site's editor, and a total for the list, so you can plan the week.

Every plan

What it affects

Being indexed, ranking, clicks, experience, sharing, AI search, email and DNS, privacy or security. Filter by any of them, or by site.

Every plan

Checked again

Mark an item fixed and TideStat re-runs the check. If the problem comes back later, it returns to the list, flagged.

Every plan

For your developer

Each item folds out the technical detail and the pages affected, and has a link you can send to whoever does the work.

Every plan

Ignore what doesn't apply

Some warnings don't fit every site. Ignore them on purpose and they stay out of the list and the scores.

Write the fix

Steps and code, ready to paste

Choose Write the fix on any item. TideStat reads the live page and writes the steps for the site's own platform, with the HTML or text ready to copy.

  • WordPress, Shopify or custom-built: steps that match the editor the site uses
  • Nothing made up: what TideStat can't check is left as a [placeholder], and each fix says how sure it is of the cause
  • 2 credits, charged only when a usable fix is delivered. Paid plans include credits every month

Every site in one place

Across every client, or one at a time

The Fix list covers the whole account; each site's page has its own, and a client login can show a client only theirs. The same item never appears twice: a missing summary on eight pages is one item, not eight.

  • Counts on the overview: to do, urgent, fixed this week
  • Fixes confirmed this month feed the client report and the client's home page

After the fix

See what each fix was worth

Fixing is half the job. The other half is knowing it helped, and showing it.

Before and after on Google

Every fix you mark is logged with the site's Google clicks, times seen and positions for the 28 days before and after, so you can say what changed.

With Search Growth

Ask your site

Ask a question in plain words, such as “why did the speed score drop?”, and get an answer drawn from the site's own results. 1 credit an answer.

Agency 25 and Agency 100

In the monthly report

What was fixed this month, confirmed by the checks, goes into the client report and the client's home page automatically.

Paid plans

Credits

AI credits come with every paid plan

Monitoring, the Fix list and PDF reports never use credits. Credits are only for AI: a written fix uses 2, an AI report summary 20, an “Ask your site” answer 1.

Need more? 500 extra credits are a one-off add-on and never expire.

Fix list questions

Where do the problems come from?

From every check TideStat runs: uptime, certificates, the search and accessibility crawl, speed, structured data, redirects, email and DNS, cookies, server software and, when connected, Search Console and Bing. Each problem is written in plain English, not as a rule code.

How is “worst first” decided?

By what the problem does: a page Google can't index or a certificate about to lapse comes before a missing image description. Items are grouped into “fix this week” and “this month”, each with a rough time for someone used to the site's editor.

What does an AI-written fix cost?

It uses 2 credits from the plan's monthly allowance, and only when a usable fix is delivered. Paid plans include credits every month; the Free plan has no AI features.

Can the AI get it wrong?

It reads the live page and is told never to invent facts about a business. Anything it can't check, such as a price or an opening time, is left as a [placeholder] for you to fill in, and each fix says how sure it is of the cause.

What happens when I mark something fixed?

TideStat checks again. If the check passes, the item moves to Fixed; if the problem ever comes back, it returns to the list and is flagged.
